New Junk in the Media Bucket

Hello, all.

All one of you, anyway.

Just dropping a line to announce that I have added some more audio krap (kako-phoniks, if you will) to my Media Bucket at drop.io. Most of it is really only good to one man, the Reverend Ivan Stang, because most of it exists only to be played on the Hour of Slack (as in, one is an Hour of Slack intro starring Ming the Merciless, and the other is an audio sample of one of my personal Pleasurebots reading the sakred PO Box number). The other two bits go together, as it is details the unfortunate plight of a SubGenius minister in Hell (Christian Hell, of course... It is well-known that SubGenius Hell is a P-A-R-T-Y!).

Anyways, if you can get past my rampant "Bob"by-ism, you might like some of it... And if not, just wait, I've got more audio-krap to publish very, very soon.

Enjoy!

The New Look

I'm in the midst of doing some remodeling here, changing templates, and being tired of the homegrown options from Google (no offense, Big G... I welcome our Google Overlords!), I dug around the interwebs, and picked the most "wrong" one I could find (well, wrong for this site, anyway)... I will save it, for future generations to marvel at, but it'll be gone from here in a day or two... Until then, enjoy the scenery.

Fun with Christians - The Letter from HELL!

A well-meaning associate of mine posted this on Facebook.

It's like an episode of Tales from the Darkside written by Jack Chick... and a monkey.

I don't particularly like making fun of Christianity, but sometimes the jokes just write themselves.

Enjoy.
Are you bored? Need something to do?

Do you want to learn the history of Rasputin's Penis?

Wanna read about my dick?

Well, head straight on over to the Wikipedia and take a look.

Who would guess that the mad monk's dismembered member would warrant a Wikipedia article?

The Golden Age of Video

I found this fantastic YouTube via Hour of Slack #1226, by an artist named Ricardo Autobahn. If you haven't seen it, you really should...

"We came, we saw, we kicked its ass!" Indeed.

Hour of Slack - Again!

Not content to appear on just one episode of the High and Mighty Hour of Slack, I also turn up on episode 1226, the first Starwood 2009 - themed episode. Not just that, but the Sacred Scribe himself, the Reverend Ivan Stang spoke very highly of my signal2noize GodSatan.

I'm positively blushing!

The rest of the episode is pretty good (although, to be honest, I did prefer #1225 - not only because I was on it (3 times!), but also because of the great radio interview that Right Where You're Sitting Now did with Reverend Stang, and because of that wonderful Ricardo Autobahn video).

Anyways, I didn't make it on to 1227 or 1228, so I suspect that the signal2noize run is at an end (and hey, 4 out of 5 ain't bad), but I have some new stuff brewing, and I'm always hoping for a little more exposure...

Come On with Me, to Kern's Holler!

Sometimes, don't you just want to get away from it all, and go to a place...

...where the huntin' and the baby makin' are good?
...where they discuss the issues confronting both the Feed Store and Quantum Pants?

Then come on down to Kern's Holler, and join your host Tater Gumfries!

Actually, it reminds me alot of where I went to high school...

So, come take a trip with me, won't you?

I'm Internet-Famous!

Hot, Damn!

Guess who got to open this week's Hour of Slack?

That's right, you're looking at his blog!

Who would've thought that my decade old brain tapes would be considered worthy of playing upon the Legendary Hour of Slack?

My Slack Runneth Over! Praise "Bob"!

And many thanks to the great Reverend Ivan Stang for the shout-out.

Eagle Scout to Bond Villain in 6 Easy Lessons!

I was wandering around the internet, and found an off-hand reference in a Cracked article to a Boy Scout who built a "radiation gun" and tried to build a fission reactor.

Wait a sec.... a fission reactor?

When I was in Scouts, I learned all about camping in the rain, fart jokes, and why hiking sucks. But a fission reactor?

I didn't learn how to do that until I went to Evil Medical School.

Read his inspiring story, and try to figure out what the moral is.

signal2noize

I just opened up a new sub-site to store my multimedia-crap in, my Media Bucket The very first thing I put into this bucket was a collection of intercepted brain-wave patterns that were recorded over several sessions with the late(?) Dr. Hans Suzuki (the preeminent Swedish-Japanese paleo-neuro-pharmacologist). I was a research assistant and frequent test subject for the good doctor, and after he disappeared in '97 (along with the bottom six floors of Miskatonic University's Forbidden Sciences building), I decided to post his findings online (via the once-great MP3.com) under the name "signal2noize" (the album was called The First Transmission, but since the doctor has yet to re-appear, it has thus far been the only transmission).

Now I have put them here, for all to see, and in hopes of getting them played on the greatest radio show in the history of the planet, The Hour of Slack.

Praise "Bob"!
